Tonight I’m writing while tucked away in a corner of a little library, surrounded by two stories of bookshelves of dark wood and glass cabinet doors. There’s a string of fairy lights glowing behind me, and a few dim, warm-toned lamps hanging from the ceiling.
Yesterday evening, I went to the Scottish Sinfonia’s concert at St Cuthbert’s church. I had a lovely time, and I really enjoyed the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 2.
